Our Mission
Fostering collaboration between mailers and the Postal Service.
The Austin Postal Customer Council exists to foster collaboration between the business mailing community and the United States Postal Service. Through monthly educational events, networking opportunities, and industry advocacy, we help our members stay informed about postal regulations, reduce mailing costs, and grow their businesses.
The Austin PCC was established in 1983 as part of the national Postal Customer Council program. For over four decades, we have served as the primary bridge between Austin-area mailers and the USPS. Our membership has included some of the largest direct mail operations in Texas, as well as small businesses, nonprofits, and individual mail professionals.

What Is a PCC?

Postal Customer Councils are local groups established by the USPS to strengthen the working relationship between the Postal Service and the business mailing community. There are over 190 PCCs across the United States. Each is led by a volunteer board of directors composed of industry and USPS representatives.
PCCs provide a forum for mailers to learn about postal products, hear about regulatory changes, meet USPS leadership, and connect with fellow mailing professionals in their region.
Today, the Austin PCC continues to hold monthly programs covering topics from postage optimization and mail design to supply chain updates and new USPS technologies like Informed Delivery.
